Delivery Information
Pallets and Crates
We have partnered with some of the UK's leading pallet distribution networks to ensure that your order is delivered to you quickly and conveniently. Delivery availability and cost are dependent on your location. We are also able to offer pallet tracking so that you can see how your delivery is progressing.
Most areas of the UK are covered by our Free Standard Delivery.
Local DeliveriesIf you live in South Cumbria, North Lancashire or North Yorkshire please ring or email us to discuss your order. Deliveries local to ourselves can be carried out using our own vehicles. We will call you to arrange the delivery with you.
Smaller Items
Our smaller items, such as the firelighters are sent using a parcel courier. The prices shown on the page include the cost of delivery to any UK address.
Tracking
Once your order is on its way, you can track your order. Information will be included on your dispatch email.
Express Delivery
During the checkout process, you can upgrade from our free standard economy delivery to our express delivery service. Here's how our Express Delivery service works:
- Orders placed before 11:00 am, Monday to Thursday will be delivered the next working day.
- Express Delivery orders placed before 11:00 am on a Friday will be dispatched on the Friday but delivered the following Monday.
- Express Delivery orders placed on a Friday after 11.00 am will be dispatched on the following Monday and delivered on Tuesday.
- Express Delivery orders placed on Saturday or Sunday will be delivered on Tuesday.
Delivery
- Deliveries are kerbside only. The couriers have no obligation to deliver the pallet exactly where you want it, however, they will be very helpful wherever possible.
- You have the option to select your delivery date when you progress through the checkout pages. Deliveries take place on weekdays.
- Please provide us with a mobile / daytime telephone number so that we can contact you about your order and delivery if needed.
- Our nationwide deliveries are carried out by a 3rd party delivery company. The delivery wagons can be up to 18 tonnes in size, however, 7.5t delivery wagons can be requested. Please state at the time of ordering if a smaller wagon is required. Please note a smaller delivery truck can only unload pallets weighing up to 750kg.
- A signature will be required to confirm that the goods have been received.
- If a consignment delivery is refused, cancelled after dispatch or returned to us for any reason. The goods returned will be refunded to the customer less all haulage charges generated.
- Deliveries are carried out at the drivers' discretion.
- Deliveries can take place at any time between 8:00am and 6:00pm
Saturday Deliveries
- Saturday deliveries can be arranged but the order must be placed with us by 11:00am on the Wednesday prior to the delivery.
- Saturday deliveries will incur an additional courier charge. Please contact us for a quote.
- There is a minimum additional charge for this service of £60, but can be more depending on the size and location of the delivery.
Ordering and Delivery Information
1) Once you place your order, you'll receive an email confirmation right away..
2) When your order is dispatched, we'll send you another email with tracking information so you can follow its journey, if this service is available.
3) Economy Delivery: We aim to deliver your order on your chosen day, but please allow up to 7 working days from dispatch.
4) Express Delivery: We aim to deliver within 1 working day from dispatch.
5) Express Delivery: To get your order the next working day, please place it before 11:00 am, Monday to Friday. Orders placed after 11:00 am on Friday, or over the weekend, will arrive on Tuesday.
6) Delivery Days and Times: Deliveries are made Monday to Friday, between 8:00 am and 6:00 pm. We do not deliver on Bank Holidays or National Holidays.
7) Delivery Vehicle and Access: Our delivery lorries have tail lifts to unload your pallet. The driver will use a pallet pump truck to move the pallet to your kerbside or driveway entrance, if possible. Please note that we can only deliver to hard, level surfaces (no gravel drives).
8) Pallet Handling: Due to the weight of the pallets, our drivers can only deliver to the kerbside or driveway entrance. They are not responsible for moving individual bags from the pallet.
6) Restricted Access: If your delivery address has any access restrictions like narrow roads, sharp bends, or low bridges, please let us know when you order so we can make special arrangements. If you don't tell us about access issues and we can't deliver, you will be responsible for the cost of returning the pallet.
7) The courier is not responsible for handling the bags on the pallet.
8) If access to the delivery address is restricted by sharp bends and narrow roads or low bridges you must inform us when ordering as we may need to make alternative arrangements. Please note, failing to notify us of any access issues may result in pallets being returned to us, the cost of returning a pallet will be paid by the customer.
9) Inspect Your Delivery: Please check your order carefully upon delivery. If there is any damage, make a note of it on the driver's delivery note before they leave.
10) Delivery Access: To avoid delays or redelivery charges, please ensure the driver has clear access to your property. If they can't access your delivery location, your order will be returned to the depot and you'll need to arrange collection at your own expense.
